Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest and the famous National Park which is established in the 1936,located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand and named after the Jim Corbett who played an important role in the establishment of the park.Corbett National Park spread in an area of 520.8 kmĀ².Corbett National Park is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas, and it is great paradise for the nature lovers.It is a famous place for the wildlifes and has a tiger population of around the 160, it is also a home for the various other species of the fauna, birds and this is a best bird-watching areas with some 600 species having been sighted in the park.
