Dibru Saikhowa National Park is famous for the national wildlife park situated in the flood plains of Brahmaputra at an altitude of 118 m above sea level.It is a famous biodiversity place with over the 300 species of avifauna as well the various species shrubs, herbs and rare medicinal plants.It is one of the nineteen hotspots around the world.It is situated at the distance of 12kms from the Tinsukia Town of the Assam in an area of the 65 sq.km.It is surrounded by the Brahmaputra and the Lohit rivers from the north and the Dibru river on the south.The deciduous forest, cane brakes and the grasslands are the main attractions of the National Parks.Park is also home to other rare creatures such as water buffalo, wild horse, the tiger and Capped Langur. The park also has some Eco lodges.

The best time to visit the Park is from the month of the November to April as this is the best period to enjoy watching the migratory birds which is the major tourists attraction.Permission is required while enter in the park but the entry is restricted before sunrise and after sunset.The summers are very hot and wet while the winters time is very cold and dry.The rainy season is from the month of the June to September.The temp. is measured from 7°C and to a maximum of 34°C.
