Mudumalai National Park is situated on the northern side of the Nilgiri Hills in the Nilgiri District situated about 150 km north-west of Coimbatore city in Kongu Nadu region of Tamil Nadu.From the one side it is connected with the Karnataka and Kerala.This Wildlife Sanctuary also declared as the Tiger Reserve. Mudumalai National Park is also considered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for the World Heritage Site.It is a major tourists attraction and a important wildlife habitat where you can see the population of Tigers,Indian leopard, elephants, gray langur, bonnet macaque, sambar deer.Some reptiles that are found here are python, flying lizard, spectacled cobra, krait and Asian pit vipers.
